Super hero battle royale

Thunderbird is no more. Our main story arc in Derek's mutants and masterminds game wrapped up on Sunday night in a climactic battle that took fully two hours to resolve. We busted into the villains lair, rescued the hostages and fought a whole slew of bad guys, before being able to beat down their leader.

My character (Warspite) is no more because he activated the device that would send the main villain back to his home (Hell) dimension and got taken back there with him. It wasn't an accident though, I had a feeling it would turn out like that as I pushed the button; it was time to retire the character.

So now Caliber, Wipeout and Airfist will have to do without a giant armoured behemoth to stand behind. My next character will be totally different.
